BIO

I am a musician and academic hailing from Bangalore, India. My primary specialisations in music are as a guitar player, vocalist and educator, with teaching experience around the world. As a researcher, my domains of interest include ethnomusicology, music theory, Karnatik music and diaspora cultures.

I am currently a doctoral candidate under the mentorship of Dr. Svanibor Pettan at the University of Ljubljana, where I am researching the intersection of society, culture and music of Indian origins, in Slovenian society.

Feel free to contact me if you have a query regarding my work, or for lessons.

LESSONS

I usually teach lessons 1-on-1 catering to the individual's needs. Topics that I am happy to share include music theory, ear training and transcriptions, Karnatik music for beginners and musicians hailing from non-Indian backgrounds interested in Indian classical music, as well as music appreciation for the music enthusiast.
